What does
DALI mean for you?
DALI is a digital lighting-control protocol. It lets compatible controls address lights individually or in groups. The fixtures and drivers determine which dimming and color features are available.
Selected DMF Artafex configurations offer DALI-2 digital control. We coordinate the fixtures, drivers and controller, including Lutron HomeWorks where the specified hardware supports the intended features.
A panelized system or a DALI connection alone does not make a fixed-white fixture tunable white.

Can you improve lighting in an existing home?
Yes. Existing wiring, fixtures and access help determine the options. We can discuss local controls, compatible wireless devices or a combination of approaches.
Can lighting and shades work together?
Compatible systems can coordinate both in scenes. A movie setting might lower the shades and soften the lights; a daytime setting can welcome natural light.
How is tunable white different from full-color lighting?
Tunable white adjusts the warmth of white light. Full-color systems such as Ketra can also produce colored light. Ranges and features depend on the selected equipment.
